David, the geeky genius, and Matt, the jock, are happy and experiencing real love for the first time. In the height of their "honeymoon stage", however, Christmas break sneaks up and they have to go their separate ways for a month.
Both of them struggle with being apart for the first time in months, while also dealing with parents who want to know about girlfriends and their futures.
David's family is more accepting so he comes out to them. But Matt's family is traditional and very conservative so his month long break gives him some moral doubts. When they come back to campus this divide begins to tear at the relationship.
And when David gets involved with the LGBT group on campus and attracts the attention of a its gorgeous leader, Joshua, the relationship begins to strain.
Despite the bond they have built, Matt's reluctance to be open with their relationship is driving them apart. When Matt's parents visit and set him up with a family friend's daughter, Matt is forced to make a decision. Under all the stress of his sexuality, he kisses the girl at the end of the night but realizes it's David he really wants. But David is already at the January Prom with Joshua..

He walked up behind me and put his hands on my shoulders before slowly sliding them down the front of my chest. "Well, this makes me happy. Does that count?" He began kissing my neck as he continued to rub my chest.
"So you're saying I make you happy?"
“Yeah, of course you do. Don’t I make you happy?”
“Of course, I’ve been so happy the past few weeks. I just didn’t even think about people as a way to happiness.”
“So what did you think it was that’s been making you happy the last few weeks?” Matt chuckled. “Just this?” He placed his fingers around my chin and pulled my lips in for a kiss.
“Well that certainly has made me happy. But it’s more than just the kissing, I guess. I wouldn’t be this happy if it was anyone else.” We were only inches apart, and I felt the closeness both physically and in the way we were speaking. We had never talked about our emotions like this before.
“Damn straight you wouldn’t be,” Matt flashed me his famous lopsided smile and I felt my stomach practice its summersaults. “No one could take care of you like I do. It feels different because I want to make you happy - because I care about you.”
As he was speaking, his hands were working their way across my chest and down my torso. The combination of his words with the magic of his hands was just too much for me to handle. I kissed him and felt my lips tingle with the thrill of his touch. His lips parted for me with ease and tongues immediately found each other. They danced together as I drew us both up to a standing position and navigated him backwards across the room.
I broke the kiss momentarily to catch my breath from the passionate embrace. I had just enough air to exhale the words, “I care about you more than you know,” into his mouth before pushing him down on the bed.
My paper would have to wait; I needed a break, and it was time to indulge in a bit of happiness.

Loved the sequel to Dave and Matt. It is more real. It goes beyond the initial stage of discovery as Dave and Matt try to deal with their own personal issues. Coming out is not easy as the story shows. I hope that part three will not disappoint.Product details

We went through the many struggles of coming out and starting your first relationship. There were some parts of sexual content but it was done in a very great way.
I so badly wish these were longer!! I think the whole thing should be one book instead of a bunch of shorts... and seriously? 2.99 for a handful of pages is ridiculous... but.. I'm hooked on it now and I gotta see what happens..
I liked the continuation of Matt and David.. while David is more secure in his sexuality; Matt has family obligations and isn't wanting to come out and be public, which I can understand but that didn't make it easy for David...
I kinda feel bad for Josh, although it was a douche move for him to put the moves on David when he knew he was seeing Matt, he did also tell him that they hadn't defined their relationship and up until the prom night he'd been a good friend and a big help so I hope an apology from Josh would make it better. I feel like he kinda over reacted...
Anyway, I like the story between these two and even though the prices of them are ridiculous, I'm gonna finish out the series.... dunno if I'll read anymore from this author if they're all shorts like this that cost a whack but... we shall see...

Nice story
This is a story about coming out. The plot is great, the romance is conveyed in such a gentle way, as it should be, and there is just the right mesh of drama as well. I will be looking forward to your next short story!
